Introduction: We all strive for quality. But have you ever thought about how to define quality? What does quality mean: to you, to regulators, to residents, to resident family members, to staff?
The purpose of this program is to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and tools you need to develop effective action plans. Action plans are a critical component of a successful and dynamic Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement Program.
Objectives: At the end of this course, you will be able to: - Describe the steps to developing a successful QA/QI program;
- Identify the benefits of having a proactive program;
- Identify how to develop and prioritize quality initiatives;
